RabbitVCS is a set of graphical tools written to provide simple and straightforward access to the version control systems you use. Currently, it is integrated into the Nautilus file manager and only supports Subversion, but our goal is to incorporate other version control systems as well as other file managers.
It is primarily inspired by TortoiseSVN.
RabbitVCS is Free/Open Source Software written in the Python and is based upon the PyGTK library.

Do you plan a support of Git? I love tortoiseSVN, but under windows i need to use tortoiseGit from another developer. Please, extend support of different Version Control software.
Your program is really cool
That's the plan yes. I'll be working out some things at Version Control Systems
Brilliant!
I went looking for an Ubuntu equivalent of TortoiseGit a few weeks ago but came up with nothing.
This will be great.
There is already Debian package called “tortoisehg-nautilus” which provides Mercurial GUI for Nautilus and since Mercurial has the same features as git, I am using it for my projects.
Although would be cool to see software(GUI) that can support git and svn too and does not require installing a bunch of different clients for this.
I've set up a page about RabbitVCS on Wikipedia. Please consider adding to it, or correcting anything I've written: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RabbitVCS
This is a very useful piece of software. I've been waiting for this since a long time. Great job. I will try to contribute to this project as much as i can.
This is fantastic. I thought “hey, there must be something like TortoiseSVN for Nautilus”
Thank you!
